The Summer School on Innovation Management is an intensive deep-dive two-week program offering to world-class bachelor and master students the opportunity to learn how to manage the innovation process both by attending lectures taught by top quality faculty and by actively developing their own startup project.
What will you learn?
During the first week you will develop an hands on understanding of the numerous side of managing innovation, such as how to: deal with intellectual property rights, combine R&D efforts with market needs, enable your organisation to make the most from open innovation, finding the right business model, an so on. At the same time you will develop valuable soft skills through workshops on pitching, effective public speaking, leading and managing groups, personal branding, teambulding and creative management thinking, improvisational theatre.
In the second week you’ll develop with your team your startup project, from idea to the full execution and implementation plan and you will present it to a jury of simulated investors. This summer school goes beyond academic content and will give you a chance to participate in social activities and educational trips which will make you closed to the Italian culture and landscape.
